Kate is a born and raised in Yukoner, currently located in Paris where she conducts research on climate finance and climate policy as a Young Associate at the OECD. Kate graduated from the University of Toronto in 2020 with a degree in Economics and Global Health. Her passion for renewable energy was sparked by her older brother who established a solar energy company in the Yukon in 2015. Kate began volunteering with WiRE in 2019 and is a strong believer and supporter of WiRE’s mission.
