Patrika McEvoy is the Chair of Energy on the Board of Directors for Tll Yahda Ltd, Make it right, a Haida Nation renewable energy company since 2019. Focused on capacity building and  equipment procurement for the island of Haida Gwaii, Patrika continues to this day to be an advocate and a role model for First Nations People on and off the island. 

Though elected Councilor for Old Massett Village Council in 2019, Patrika has long since been involved in climate adaptation for Haida Gwaii for many years prior. She is involved in so many aspects of uplifting her community, including advocating for training opportunities, working with Skilled Trades BC to help launch the Xaadgee tla Hlanguulagang - the Old Massett trades training program that continues every year to support trades people working towards their red seal certificate.
