Lindsay is an adjunct professor in Civil Engineering and Instructor in Engineering Technical Communications at the University of Windsor.  Lindsay has notable research experience in energy systems with a focus on renewable energy, energy finance, and the environmental and economic impacts of energy technologies and sources.  She has also collaborated on several research projects on various topics including air quality, which was the focus of her doctoral research, and sustainable materials selection, which was the focus of her post-doctoral research.  Most recently, Lindsay’s work has been focused on lifetime extension assessment for wind farms and on evaluating repair / replace decisions with a technical and economic lens.  Lindsay has also been involved in engineering pedagogy research with a focus on bringing engagement into large classrooms.  Further, she is active on national committees to support and promote diversity in the energy sector, both in academia and in the workplace.  Lindsay has several publications in her research areas and, along with her colleagues, has hosted many workshops, conferences, and events across North America.
