Aboriginal Apprenticeship Board of Ontario (AABO)
The Aboriginal Apprenticeship Board of Ontario (AABO) is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to increasing the number of Aboriginal people in the trades in Ontario.
The AABO is the embodiment of the Ontario-based Aboriginal Apprenticeship Strategy as defined in the document “Supply Meeting Demand.” Its purpose is to ensure that the components of the Strategy are well articulated through a plan of action, which will have measurable and positive results throughout the province.
Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE)
Indigenous Clean Energy (ICE) are the leading platform in accelerating First Nations, Inuit, and Métis participation in clean energy projects from coast to coast to coast.
ICE supports Indigenous communities to be clean energy change agents through capacity-building, skills development, career training, and mentorship with high-quality and hands-on programming.
Trade Winds to Success
Trade Winds To Success was established in 2005 by the Joint Training Trust Fund and is partnered with Indigenous community organizations and government funding agencies to provide First Nation, Metis, and Inuit people an opportunity to receive pre-apprenticeship training and shop experience in many construction trades.
