Turkiye

Turkiye, with a great spot and good weather, is on track to be a leader in clean energy. In 2021, it had 54.8GW of renewable energy capacity, making up 43% of its electricity. Turkiye plans to reach 50% renewable energy by 2030 and 80% by 2053. This move improves energy diversity and security while also looking into energy storage and efficiency.
