Abena works with the Ministry of Energy as an engineer. She is a masters graduate in Energy and Sustainable Management from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. She is currently pursuing two other masters: a masters in Renewable Energy from The Renewable Energy Institute in the United Kingdom and a Master of Science in Environmental Sustainability from University College Dublin in Ireland. She has been working for the Ministry of Energy for several years and has played key roles in the implementation and monitoring of some government led renewable energy projects in the country.
