Nigeria

Nigeria has lots of energy sources, and is starting to use more renewable energy. In 2020, 14% of its big energy supply came from renewables. Bioenergy and solar power will be more important in Nigeria’s future energy plans. Nigeria makes more energy than it uses. Nigeria wants to cut its greenhouse gas emissions by 47% by 2030 and be net-zero by 2060. Having lots of resources and focusing on renewables, Nigeria is leading Africa’s switch to renewable energy.
